The Makita DTM51ZJX7 is sold here as a body only tool complete in a MakPac carry case plus a segment saw blade, sanding pad and 5 each of 60 grit, 80 grit, 120 grit and 180 grit abrasive paper sheets. It uses fast variable speed oscillations of between 6,000-20,000 OPM to vibrate the blade or sanding pad and has an ergonomic and comfortable barrel grip. Accessories are changed in seconds simply by opening the front lever, removing the centre pin, installing the accessory, replacing the pin and clamping the lever shut. Other features include an anti-restart function that prevents the unit from accidentally being switched on, a low battery warning indicator, soft start and variable speed control.
