Festool offer probably the most comprehensive aftersales and warranty service currently available. If something is faulty, it is repaired free of charge (If the tool is within its warranty period). This includes labour, spare parts and all wear parts. The Festool transport service will collect the tool if required – and return it free of charge as well. This eliminates the cost risk for you and saves time that can be invested in your work.

Extended Warranties

Festool offer the above warranty terms as well as 36 months of theft protection. Easier than insurance: If stolen – even from a building site or car – you will receive a brand new replacement tool after paying an excess of £100 inc. VAT. Wherever the thief strikes. You're covered.

Festool 14 Day Return

You can return the registered, undamaged machine to your Festool dealer partner in its original packaging together with all the accessories included in the delivery within 14 days of purchase (Returns are at the customers expense). On presentation of your original receipt, the dealer will then reimburse you with the purchase amount.* *In justified cases where the machine has been subject to above-average wear, the Festool dealer partner is entitled to refuse a reimbursement until the case has been reviewed and approved by the Festool GmbH. If the machine is deemed to not be in a condition that allows it to be sold as a lightly used item, or any parts are missing then a refund will be refused and the return costs to the customer will be the customers responsibility.

Do I Need To Register

We will automatically register your Festool product on your behalf, so you don’t need to do anything to take advantage of Festool’s warranty. If you do not wish us to register your tool for you then you must let us know within 7 days of purchase. Extended Warranties

Extended Warranties

Most DeWalt tools can be registered for an extended 3 year warranty. The following DeWalt tools are EXCLUDED from the 3 year warranty: Fixing Tools e.g. Nailers, Powder Impact tools, Batteries and Chargers, reconditioned tools, Compressors, and Generators. Tools must be registered by the end user within 4 weeks of purchase. LICENSED PRODUCTS DEWALT has granted the following products to be manufactured and sold under license with the stated warranties, under the same terms and conditions as the 1 year warranty on DEWALT POWER TOOLS, but over the stated period for each licensee. Ladders 5 years warranty, Wheeled Trollies 5 years warranty, Electric wet and dry vacuums 3 years warranty, Petrol Generators 1 years warranty, Electric and Petrol Pressure Washers 1 years warranty, 2 Way Radios 1 years warranty, Clothing and Footwear 6 months warranty.

STIHL DOMESTIC USERS -2 Year Warranty Period

All machines in the current STIHL range are covered for a period of 2 years** from the date of purchase by the Owner, when used for the designed purpose of that product by Domestic Users. **STIHL High Pressure Cleaners are covered for an extended warranty period of 3 years in Domestic use. See below for STIHL Grounds care applicable warranty periods. Personal Protective Equipment receives a 1 year warranty for all user types.

STIHL PROFESSIONAL USERS

All machines in the current STIHL range are covered for a period of 1 year** from the date of purchase by the Owner, when used for the designed purpose of that product by Professional Users (Including Hire, Rental and Construction Industry, Farm and Estate). STIHL AS System, AI Line and AK System cordless products are not covered under warranty when used by Professional Users (including Hire, Rental and Construction Industry, Farm and Estate). **STIHL High Pressure Cleaners are covered for an extended warranty period of 2 years in Professional use. NOTE: There will be no extension to the warranty period on products sold to the Hire, Rental and Construction Industry. The existing 1 year warranty period will remain for these products. Metabo rely on the quality of thier products. With Metabo's XXL warranty they therefore offer instead of the usual one to two years a free warranty extension. Thanks to this you profit from thier warranty promise for a total of 3 years. A simple registration within the first 4 weeks after purchase is sufficient.

How to claim

In the case of a warranty claim you can then simply present the proof of purchase together with the XXL warranty certificate.

Draper Tools is proud to offer a high standard of products, each rigorously tested by our in-house Quality Assurance team. They are so confident in the quality of our tools and products that they provide a generous LIFETIME warranty on all hand tools, as well as a 12 or 24-month warranty on most power tools. There is an option to extend this to 36 months on selected products.

This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear the product undergoes in its lifetime, or damage caused by misuse, careless or unsafe handling, alterations, accidents, or repairs attempted other than by authorised Draper warranty repair agents. These warranties are in place of any other warranty, expressed or implied, and variations of such warranties are not permitted, but your statutory rights are not affected. Exclusions to LIFETIME WARRANTY include but are not limited to consumable products (ie; drill bits, abrasive wheels, sanding sheets, batteries, PPE and clothing etc), Hex, RIBE® and Draper TX-STAR bits, hinged joint extension handles. Repair kits will be issued for most ratchets. Torque wrench testing and re-calibration must be carried out on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.
