The Makita 9903 is a single speed variable belt sander fitted with a variable speed control dial so the correct speed can be set depending on the material being sanded.
Using a belt size of 75mm x 533mm it is not solely for sanding wood, it can also be used for the sanding of metal or even plastered walls etc. Suitable for the heavier user, this tool features a half plastic half aluminium housing offering a more robust tool and with its unique design, it allows flush sanding to a wall or other surface. Fitted with a powerful 1010 watt motor this tool also boasts an auto belt tracking feature saving you time when replacing the abrasive belts.
