The Makita BHX2501 has been one of the best-selling petrol leaf blowers in the UK for over 10 years and with a powerful maximum airflow of 10.1 m³/min you'll have the garden free of leaves and debris with minimum effort and time. Powered by a 24.5cc 4-stroke petrol engine with separate petrol and oil containers requiring no mixing plus the advantages of lower noise and vibration, lower emissions and added fuel efficiency over similar 2 stroke models. The MM4 engine features easy pull start electronic ignition with a choke for cold weather starting and a primer to get the fuel into the carburettor reducing pulls and the risk of flooding. The BHX2501 is lightweight at just 4.5kg and well balanced making it suitable for prolonged use and the fishtail pipe is supplied in 3 twist together sections with the bottom piece angled and flattened for optimum air flow and direction. Other features include a lock on half throttle to save finger pressure on the trigger, an extended oil drain plug for easy oil changing and a manual decompression system for easy recoil pulling.. The BHX2501 is compatible with the 197235-3 Vacuum Attachment (supplied separately) which quickly converts it from a blower to a vacuum with a large collection bag that collects the mulched debris for composting.
