Makita DHR400ZKU Twin 18v Brushless Rotary Demolition Hammer (Body Only + Case)

The Makita DHR400ZKU is a cordless rotary demolition hammer with a 36v brushless DC motor with low maintenance and extended runtime and is powered by twin 18v LXT batteries. This is a 2 function machine with rotary hammer mode for masonry drilling up to 40mm and hammer only mode for chiselling. AVT (anti vibration technology) reduces hand arm vibration allowing for sustained use and AWS (auto-start wireless system) which automatically connects to compatible dust extractors with Bluetooth. This unit has an impressive hammer action of 8.0J and drilling capacities of 40mm solid bit and 105mm core bit. Other features include constant speed control to keep the motor speed constant under load, torque limiter to protect the user against "snagging" plus soft start, variable speed and electric brake.

• The DHR400ZKU LXT Brushless and Cordless SDS-MAX Rotary Demolition Hammer has a 2-mode operation with rotational hammering and hammering only. The speed of the machine is automatically reduced at zero load to further reduce vibrations and to facilitate the targeted positioning of the chisel. Features include a one touch sliding chuck for easy bit change, a torque limiter to protect the user from snagging, electronic speed control with constant speed to avoid stalling under load and soft start to make the user experience more comfortable. "Soft No Load" reduces vibration of the tool body when idling which results in decreased vibration to the operator's hands and also minimises deflection when lining the bit/chisel.
• This model is also a part of the Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) range, which can connect to compatible dust extractors with Bluetooth using the supplied Bluetooth adaptor. The dust extractor automatically runs while the tool is switch is on, and turns off when tool is off. This maximises the battery life of both products.
