The Makita DHS900Z twin 18v 235mm circular saw has a brushless 36v motor that is powered by 2 x 18v batteries working together in series and providing the power of a mains machine. The brushless motor provides longer runtime, more efficient power transfer and improved tool life when compared to a brushed counterpart. ADT (automatic torque drive) technology changes the cutting speed depending upon load condition for optimum operation. Other features include a robust lightweight magnesium die-cast base that is compatible with the guide rail system without the need for an adaptor and high visibility scales for simple depth and angle adjustment. The handle and front holder have rubberised grips for firm control and the specially designed guard allows for better visibility. It has an electric brake, soft start and a rotatable dust nozzle for connection to dust extractors and can achieve bevel cuts to 1° left and 60° right.
